Exhibition
The
St. Croix ArtBarn in Osceola, Wisconsin,
invites local artists to participate in a
juried exhibition celebrating rural life. If
you would like your artwork to be considered,
and you are a resident of Minnesota or
Wisconsin, call the St. Croix ArtBarn at (715)
294-ARTS for more information.
The
application deadline is June 1st. The
exhibition will be available for viewing
during scheduled ArtBarn events from June
19th through July 18th.
Metropolitan
Arts Council Announcement
The
Community Arts Partnership Program of the
Metropolitan Arts Council announces:

request for regional artists interested in
displaying their art at Mears Park Centre in
downtown St. Paul this year. Contact Terry

request for artwork to be purchased for
permanent display at Mears Park Centre.

Metropolitan Council employee. Appropriate
themes include urban scenes, natural
environments such as parks, or images
reflecting a diversity of people working

RVAC
Member's Exhibition
The
Third Annual River Valley Arts Council
Member's Exhibition will be held at Lakeview
Hospital's gallery during the month of May.
An opening will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
on Friday, May 1st.
Artists
may submit one piece in any medium. You must
be a current member to participate. Call Bill
Ersland at (612) 430-1878 by April
15th for further information.
Bloomington
Art Center Exhibition Program
The
Bloomington Art Center announces its spring
deadline for the 1999/2000 Exhibition
Program. The deadline is March 31, 1998. The
program is open to artists 18 and older who
are not currently pursuing an undergraduate
degree in studio arts.
Artists
must be residents of Minnesota, North Dakota,
South Dakota, Iowa or Wisconsin. For more

Rivertown
Arts Festival
The
Stillwater Area Chamber of Commerce is
sponsoring the 20th annual Rivertown Arts
Festival. The festival will be held at Lowell
Park in Stillwater, and is a great
opportunity for artists to show and sell
their work.
Date
and Time:
Saturday, May 16th, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00
p.m.
Sunday, May 17th, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The
first application deadline has passed. If you
would still like to be considered, call Lisa
at (612) 439-7700, ext. 11, to request
an application. Cost is $100 application fee
plus $25 late fee.
The
festival is open to artists producing
original artwork only. All artists are
encouraged to apply!
