Tom Brewitz Kinetic Work has spellbound audiences since the 1970's. He combines geometric stainless steel shapes with graceful motion to create a hypnotic dance.

A formal education in Fine Art at the University of Minnesota coupled with his study in design and color, Brewitz creates exciting juxtapose motion elements that twirl with a soft rhythm. In his studio, Brewitz creates hand generated indoor work and wind generated outdoor work for private collectors and corporate installations.

"I exploit gravity and geometric stainless elements to eclipse and play against each other ", he says at his hilltop studio in the St. Croix River Valley and adding that on his recent use of color.

Two dimensional planes of shape and color set in motion that impact the viewer with excitement, calm and illusion all at once. Positive and negative space create a push-pull effect while twirls of light gleam from the stainless brush strokes. To compliment the impeccable brush work, Brewitz colorizes his work in a myriad of schemes that blend and contrast.
