What a great game golf is! I can’t wait to get back out on the links. While I had my share of not-so-notable rounds last year, I also had what is, at least to date, my most memorable one as well. You can read more about it inside this edition, but let me tell you, thanks to the handicap system I was able to take home the winner’s trophy with the defending Open Champion in the field. That’s one of the reasons I love the game. Players of different abilities can always play together and even compete with each other.
Whether the camaraderie you relish with friends and family or the fellowship of enjoying a round with total strangers, playing a game of golf is always something to treasure. Heck, I can even play a game alone and appreciate the solitude of me against the course and all the elements encountered in 4 hours with nature.
I truly appreciate that you have a copy of this edition of Golf Minnesota. Please patronize the advertisers you see in this magazine, as they are the people who make our work possible.
